Salvation Army Shelters will remain fully operational. Safety plans have been established to meet the needs of each location. Arrangements have been made to separately house residents who are symptomatic and to implement social distancing where possible.  We have extended our emergency warming shelter an additional 4 months to allow our neighbors experiencing homelessness to have a safe place to “stay home” during this pandemic. This continues through our partnership with St. Louis County.

In addition, The Salvation Army has opened a new 50 bed temporary homeless shelter in partnership with St. Louis County.

Midtown Service and Treatment Center

Treatment services will continue normal operations, though visitors will be restricted for the time being. Arrangements have been made to separately house in-patient clients who are symptomatic and to implement social distancing where possible.

Veteran’s Residence

Housing services will continue normal operations, though visitors will be restricted for the time being. Safety plans have been enacted to ensure the well-being of transitional and permanent housing residents.
