The Salvation Army in Sarasota, Florida Service Update

The Salvation Army continues to serve hot meals in Sarasota, Florida and the surrounding communities. The operation currently has ten canteen teams serving in three counites. To date, the Sarasota operation has provided over 7,800 meals and 2,300 snacks to Hurricane Milton survivors. Food service continues to increase as the Sarasota operation evaluates how best to meet community needs. The Salvation Army’s response to Hurricane Milton is an international effort, with crews traveling from all over the U.S. and Cannada to assist with the operation.

Charlotte County

Manatee County

  • Lunch service at The Salvation Army 1204 14th St, Bradenton with roaming in the area beginning at noon, while supplies last.
  • Lunch service at 3004 49th St E, Palmetto, FL 34221, with roaming in the area beginning at noon, while supplies last.
  • Lunch service at 7481 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34209 with roaming in the area will begin at noon, while supplies last.

Sarasota County

  • Lunch service at 3190 Bahia Vista St, Sarasota with roaming in the area beginning at noon, while supplies last.
  • Lunch service at the Venice Community Center Point Of Distribution, 326 Nokomis Ave, Venice beginning at noon, while supplies last.
  • Lunch service at 2800 Newton Blvd, Sarasota with roaming in the area beginning at noon, while supplies last.
  • Lunch service at 4052 Gulf of Mexico Dr Comfort Station, Longboat Key, FL 34228 will begin at noon, while supplies last.
