The Salvation Army’s Florida Incident Management Team Joins the Frontlines to Serve

The Salvation Army's Incident Management Team has been leading the charge in coordinating relief efforts in response to Hurricane Helene, ensuring that the mobile feeding units deliver critical support to the people of Florida's Big Bend region. Today, the team took a hands-on approach by joining a feeding unit serving in the Perry, Florida area. This allowed them to witness firsthand the positive impact of their work, as meals, hydration, and emotional support reached those in need. Their leadership and commitment have been essential in bringing relief and hope to the affected communities.

Captain Jeremy Mockabee, the Incident Commander commended the team for their outstanding collaboration and unity, highlighting how their positive attitudes have been a crucial source of strength during this time of uncertainty. Their ability to work seamlessly together has not only ensured the smooth operation of the disaster relief efforts but has also uplifted the spirits of both those they serve and their fellow responders. The team's dedication and resilience continue to provide hope and comfort to the communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.
