The Salvation Army Continues Emergency Disaster Response in Valdosta, GA

VALDOSTA, GA (October 2, 2024) – The Salvation Army continues its response to Hurricane Helene in Valdosta, GA and the surrounding counties. Currently seven canteens are actively deployed, providing vital material, emotional, and spiritual assistance to survivors during this challenging time. These efforts are crucial as communities begin the difficult process of recovery. As residents begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives, our teams are dedicated to offering support, listening to their stories, and helping them find strength. Together, we are working to restore a sense of normalcy and resilience as we navigate the recovery process.”
