April 6, 2023 (Little Rock, Arkansas)- In the aftermath of the recent storms that have affected Central Arkansas, The Salvation Army of Central Arkansas has been working diligently to provide support and resources to those in need. The organization has set up a canteen at City Center in Little Rock to provide meals, snacks, and beverages to storm survivors.
City Center has been a centralized location for individuals who have been affected by the storms and are in need of food, cases of water, and clean-up supplies that have been donated by members of the community. The Salvation Army has set up at City Center to distribute prepared meals and provide emotional and spiritual care while survivors gather the supplies and non-perishables that are needed to help them sustain their clean-up efforts.
The Salvation Army is committed to providing critical support to those in need, and the canteen at City Center is just one example of the organization's dedication to helping the community. The Salvation Army is working closely with local officials and community leaders to ensure that the needs of storm survivors are being met and that resources are being distributed in a timely and efficient manner.
"We are here to serve the community in any way we can," said Major Bill Mockabee, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Central Arkansas. "Our goal is to provide comfort, support, and resources to those who have been affected by the storms and to help them get back on their feet as quickly as possible."
The Salvation Army of Central Arkansas is grateful for the outpouring of support from the community and is committed to continuing to provide essential services to those in need. The organization is accepting donations to support their ongoing relief efforts and encourages those who are able to contribute to do so.
