ST. LOUIS, May 31, 2020 – Beginning Monday, June 1, 2020, The Salvation Army Midland Division staff and volunteers will be distributing over 5,000 lunch meals to local First Responders and Health Care Providers. All week The Salvation Army staff and volunteers will deliver pre-packaged containers to minimize person to person contact in the abundance of safety.

Also, The Salvation Army Midland Division continues working closely with state agencies to address the COVID-19 pandemic. We maintain regular communication with local emergency management agencies in local communities throughout the Midland Division, which includes Missouri and Southern Illinois. Trained Salvation Army Emergency Response staff and volunteers remain committed to Doing The Most Good for our neighbors and particularly those who serve us on the front lines.

Because we are being called to go above and beyond in this time of need, we anticipate a greater need for funding to maintain our service to the community. The Salvation Army Midland Division needs support to be able to continue to provide needed services throughout this pandemic.
