SALVATION ARMY SARPY-CASS DISASTER RESOURCE CENTER (DRC) ANNOUNCES NEW OPERATING HOURS AS FLOOD-RELIEF EFFORT MOVES INTO LONG-TERM RECOVERY PHASE
With flood-relief work now moving into the long-term recovery phase across most of The Salvation Army Western Division’s three-state geography, the Sarpy-Cass DRC’s operating hours are set to change.
Starting the week of May 5, the Sarpy-Cass DRC (located in the old JC Penney store at the south end of Southroads, 1001 Fort Crook Road, Ste. 250, Bellevue) will be open three days per week during the following hours:
- Thursdays 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Fridays 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturdays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: The second metro-area DRC, the Council Bluffs DRC (715 N. 16th St.), also remains open—with the following hours:
- Mondays and Thursdays: noon – 7 p.m.
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: noon – 4 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. – noon
- Sundays: closed
Both DRCs will remain in operation until further notice.
