(Omaha, Neb.) The Salvation Army continued to provide disaster relief in eastern Nebraska over the weekend after heavy rains fell last Thursday. Salvation Army disaster services teams from Lincoln and Beatrice, Nebraska have been providing meals to emergency responders and residents in Dewitt and Fairbury, Nebraska. As of Sunday evening more than 225 meals have been served and 47 storm clean up kits distributed.

The Salvation Army is also responding to damage from tornadoes yesterday in Lake City, Iowa and Delmont, South Dakota. Emergency disaster relief teams from Ft. Dodge, Iowa and Mitchell, SD are on the scene prepared to provide meals and hydration to residents and emergency workers.
