Chattanooga, TN (May 20, 2013) - The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga is loading Flood Relief Kits to assist with clean-up for residents of Rhea County. Due to rising waters from weekend storms, homes in the Morgantown area of Rhea County have experienced some flooding and need assistance with cleanup. A Salvation Army team will also help assess damage to better determine if further assistance is needed.

Each Flood Relief kit contains a mop, broom, bucket, bleach, gloves, sponges, squeegee, mask, cleaning brush, and garbage bag. Each kit costs The Salvation Army $26.50.  Donations to offset these costs would be appreciated.  Donations can be made online at www.csarmy.org, by phone to 1-800-Sal-Army or by mailing The Salvation Army at 822 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 37403. The Salvation Army also asks for you to pray for the residents of Rhea County as they clean up from this flooding.
