Mobile, AL (February 29, 2012) - The Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama is deploying its canteen to Fowl River Marina in response to the tragic loss of United States Coast Guard helicopter. The Salvation Army will be on site assisting the first responders by providing food and water.

"The Coast Guard stationed here in Mobile has been a great friend to The Salvation Army," says Major Hill, Area Commander of The Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama.  "They most recently volunteered with our Angel Tree and Christmas Programs, insuring that thousands of children were able to have a happy Christmas.  Our prayers are with these men and women and their families."
