Reports indicate that extreme flooding that prompted a landslide has destroyed over 100 houses. The village where this has occurred is 85% Salvationist occupied, and there are 8 people dead and 2 missing at the moment of writing. Sadly, these figures are likely to change.
One of the bodies found is the mother of an officer stationed at the Training College in Indonesia, who has now travelled to the area.
The Territorial Commander is assessing the situation.
Your prayers for victims and survivors would be appreciated.
