AUGUSTA, GA (February 16, 2014) – Since Friday, The Salvation Army of Georgia has served a total of 1,300 meals to those in need in the Augusta-area. Local meal service will continue tonight and tomorrow, but the number of those in need is decreasing rapidly.

In partnership with the Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief team, the organization plans to serve another 100 meals in the area.
