Salvation Army of Redding CA Preparing Meals for Clover Fire Evacuees

Redding, CA (September 11, 2013) - The Salvation Army of Redding is preparing to deliver 100 meals this evening for any evacuated families at the Ono-Igo Community Church (6287 Placer Street in Igo) and emergency personnel responding to the Clover Fire.

Since the start of the wildfire, The Salvation Army has provided 545 meals, 1,010 snacks and 1,970 hydration items (water and electrolyte beverages). Salvation Army staff has also provided case management for three families in need of short-term assistance.

The Salvation Army is currently accepting monetary donations for short-term and long-term assistance.
