Sarasota, FL (October 23, 2024) – The Salvation Army continues to feed in Sarasota with one canteen serving at the FEMA assistance center. On Thursday, October 24th, the Incident Management Team will transfer operations back to the local Sarasota Corps who will determine the need for service going forward. To date, the operation has served over 48,000 meals and 15,000 snacks to Hurricane Milton survivors.
