Salvation Army Stands Ready to Serve Following Baltimore Bridge Collapse

Baltimore, MD – In the early hours of Tuesday, March 26, a shipping vessel drove into a pillar of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, over the Patapsco River in Baltimore, Maryland, causing a full bridge collapse.

The Salvation Army through the Central Maryland Area Command based in Baltimore has partnered with the Edgemere Church of God to provide feeding to the city’s Command Post starting on Thursday.

The Salvation Army stands ready to provide feeding support to first responders, and support agencies, support to families of construction workers, and Emotional & Spiritual Care (ESC) for responders and partners.
