AR Tornadoes

The Salvation Army of Arkansas-Oklahoma responded to a series of severe storms/tornadoes that crossed Arkansas on March 31, 2023. By the end of the day, approximately 75,000 people in Arkansas were without power.

On Saturday, mobile feeding units from Central Arkansas, Hot Springs, and Northwest Arkansas provided food, hydration, and emotional and spiritual care in impacted areas in Little Rock today with close to 1,000 meals served. Over the next week, The Salvation Army continued to distribute prepared meals and provide emotional and spiritual care at distribution centers while survivors gather the supplies and non-perishables that are needed to help them sustain their clean-up efforts.
