The Salvation Army Called to Serve at Wildfire in Condon, Oregon

Condon, OR – At the request of Oregon State Fire, The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services deployed on Friday, August 17th. Within a few hours, The Salvation Army served 205 meals and distributed over 900 water bottles to firefighters. Over the weekend, 1,040 cups of coffee and 450 snacks were served, including the distribution of 308 personal care items (as of 9:30 AM on Monday, August 20th).  

The team will continue to serve in Condon to assist those impacted by the Stubblefield Fire and is prepared to support as long as we are needed. For updates follow The Salvation Army at The Dalles Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/salarmythedalles/
