The Salvation Army Participates with Multi Agency Resource Center

May 12, 2016 – Oklahoma City, OK - The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services of Arkansas and Oklahoma is working with Oklahoma Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (OKVOAD) after deadly tornadoes swept through the state on Monday May 9. 

The Salvation Army will be participating with multiple non-profit and governmental agencies at a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) beginning Friday, May 13.  Assistance at the MARC is available to anyone impacted by the May 9 storms in surrounding counties.

Hours:                Friday – 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM

                           Saturday – 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM

The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma Area Command will be on site with a mobile feeding unit and catering truck to provide, food, hydration and snacks to clients and workers participating in the MARC.

Individuals and/or families affected by the storms in other parts of Oklahoma may request assistance through their local Salvation Army service extension.
