Doing The Most Good by Joining Forces

Dallas, Texas (April 25, 2016) – In times of disaster, The Salvation Army is grateful to collaborate with so many wonderful partners. The recent flood in Houston is no different.  Houstonians, area companies, and organizations have rallied around The Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command to help provide relief and comfort to flood survivors.

With a record 16 inches of rain in the Houston area, donations, help, and volunteers from Mercy Chefs, Renaissance Food Group, Cox Media Group – 93Q, Convoy of Hope, UberEATS, Garden Highway Foods, Country Legends 97.2, 107.5 The Eagle KSBJ, Harvest Time Church, Pei Wei and others, have assisted The Salvation Army in distributing:

  • 7,638 meals
  • 9,605 drinks
  • 9,526 snacks
  • 1,267 clean-up kits
