Salvation Army Mobilizing to Serve Communities in Path of Hurricane Patricia

The Salvation Army is currently monitoring Hurricane Patricia and mobilizing to serve impacted communities. As the strongest ever recorded by the U.S. National Hurricane Center, the storm is forecasted to make landfall in the Mexican state of Jalisco Friday evening as a Category 5 hurricane, and has the potential to threaten lives and create widespread destruction.

Serving individuals and communities in Mexico for 87 years, The Salvation Army is prepared to do all it can to serve those in crisis through physical, material, and spiritual support. Visit www.SAWSO.org for continued updates.

The Salvation Army depends on monetary donations to meet the unique, pressing needs of communities in need, such as those within Mexico.
