The Salvation Army Georgetown, SC works toward transitioning to long-term recovery

Georgetown, SC (October 17, 2015) – The Salvation Army of Georgetown is continuing to provide assistance to the Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties with food, hydration, and emotional and spiritual care.

Service provided today:
• The Salvation Army provided lunch, dinner, and cleanup kits to the Trio and Earl communities at the Williamsburg County Fire Department Station 11, 105 CR S-45-247, Salters, SC.
• The Salvation Army provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the community and emotional and spiritual care to citizens affected by flooding at the Central Missionary Baptist Church located at 180 Council Rd. in Salters, SC.
• The Salvation Army provided lunch at Trinity Church, 206 S. Rosemary, Andrew, SC.

The Salvation Army will continue to provide the following meals to citizens and first responders at the following locations tomorrow Sunday, October 18:
• Lunch and Dinner at Central Missionary Baptist Church, 180 Council Rd., Salters, SC and Williamsburg County Fire Department Station 11, 105 CR S-45-247, Salters, SC.
• Lunch at Trinity Church, 206 S. Rosemary, Andrews, SC.

Next week in  Georgetown and Williamsburg counties The Salvation Army will continue providing cleanup kits and will begin the distribution of food boxes as we begin transitioning the communities into long-term recovery.
