Mobile, AL Area Command Serves in Search for Missing 8-Year Old
Prichard, AL. (September 17, 2014) - The Salvation Army of Coastal Alabama was on the scene of the search party hoping to find missing 8-year-old Hiawayi Robinson. First responders requested Salvation Army assistance as they worked around the clock looking for Hiawayi Robinson. The Salvation Army of the Mobile, AL Area Command sent an emergency response team and canteen that provided food, hydration, and support on site.
The Salvation Army continued its service on Wednesday morning as the search and rescue effort continued. Major Mark Brown the Area Commander of The Mobile region added, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Robinson's family during this incredibly stressful time, as well as with the first responders who have been working nonstop to bring peace and answers to the family," said, Area Commander.
