The Salvation Army of Chattanooga and Cleveland Tennessee Triples Its Service Teams Today

Chattanooga, TN (March 4, 2012) - Today, The Greater Chattanooga Salvation Army continues to serve meals, drinks, and emotional and spiritual care after Friday's storms.  The Salvation Army served almost 700 meals, over 1,000 drinks, and prayed with over 100 individuals on Saturday in Hamilton and Bradley Counties. "Thank God for The Salvation Army. It will be another long day of cleanup and we appreciate your service" says Jerry, a resident affected by the storms.

"We have tripled our feeding teams now that roads are becoming more accessible and we will continue to serve those in need. Right now monetary donations are most needed so we can keep our supplies plentiful," says Area Commander Major Algerome Newsome.
