Even as Salvation Army personnel provide for daily needs, plans are being make to transition into the recovery phase. The decision of when to make the transition will be done with the consideration of government authorities and partnering service agencies. The recovery phase—aimed at helping survivors resume some level of normalcy—is centered on case management. It will include a span of components from the basic clean-up kits [Containing such cleaning basics as a mop, bucket, cleaning agents, sponges, masks, and gloves.] to personalize social services.
