The Salvation Army is actively responding to the impacts of Hurricane Milton which caused widespread damage across the state of Florida. Salvation Army mobile feeding units and disaster workers from across the country are deploying to impacted areas to provide food, drinks, emergency supplies and to provide emotional and spiritual care to survivors and rescue workers.
The Salvation Army has served 51102 Hot Meals, 4046 Meal Kits, 30880 Drinks and 21580 Snacks from 36 active mobile feeding units in six states. Meals are provided in partnership with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief and other organizations.
Salvation Army caregivers have provided emotional and spiritual to 4401 People.
116 trained Salvation Army disaster workers have given 6158 hours of service.
