Beginning at 4:30 AM and running until 11 PM, the telethon hopes to raise tens of thousands of dollars to assist the survivors of Friday's deadly storms. Tune into FOX 59 and make your pledge.

Response Update:

The Salvation Army is expanding its operations in Southern Indiana. Eight more Salvation Army Disaster Workers and another mobile kitchen will arrive Monday morning. There will now be three mobile kitchens moving through Henryville, Marysville and New Pekin. Previously, because of the extensive damage, the Army's response was limited to a set location in each community. On Monday, the mobile kitchens will be allowed to move through the towns, bringing help to the survivors as they try to rebuild their lives. Each mobile kitchen can serve up to 2,000 meals a day. In addition, a special team of emotional and spiritual care counselors has been sent to Southern Indiana to comfort those who have lost so much.

To date, The Salvation Army has served more than 4,900 meals to survivors and emergency workers in Henryville, Marysville and New Pekin. The number of meals is expected to increase as survivors return to their homes this week.
