El Dorado AR Salvation Army Responds to City of Camden After Severe Weather Hits Region

April 4, 2014 - Oklahoma City, OK – The Salvation Army of El Dorado, Arkansas is responding to Camden AR as requested by the City of Camden. The request comes after a series of thunderstorms, high winds and tornado activity affected parts of Northern Texas into Arkansas on Thursday evening.

Power outages, trees down, and some structure damage have been reported from several counties including: Bradley, Calhoun, Clark, Dallas, Desha, Drew, Grant, Lafayette, Nevada, Pike and Quachita counties in Arkansas. Camden is located in Quachita County.

The Salvation Army’s canteen (mobile feeding unit) will be providing food and hydration to first responders and those affected as long as needed.
