Salvation Army extends meal service at Napa and Santa Rosa evacuation centers

SACRAMENTO, CA—The Salvation Army continues to provide meals at evacuation centers in Sonoma County and Napa.  Yesterday, more than 2700 meals were served in Santa Rosa, while 700 meals were distributed in Napa.

A Salvation Army canteen (mobile kitchen) from San Jose is currently preparing meals at our Santa Rosa Corps building (93 Stony Cir, Santa Rosa), a facility which currently does not have any running gas.  There are also three Bay Area Salvation Army officers and one additional officer from Merced supporting the meal service in Santa Rosa.

The following are locations where The Salvation Army has crews distributing meals throughout the day:

Sonoma Fire

  • Finley Community Center (2060 W. College Ave., Santa Rosa).
  • Grace Pavilion (1350 Bennett Valley Rd, Santa Rosa)
  • Veterans Memorial Building (1351 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa).

Napa Fire

  • Napa Valley College gym (2277 Napa-Vallejo Highway, Napa),
  • Solano Community College (4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield).
