Salvation Army Continues to Support Napa California Earthquake Recovery
Napa, CA (August 5, 2014) - The Salvation Army continues to provide aid and support following yesterday's 6.1 earthquake near Napa. Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) still has four canteens stationed at various locations in the city of Napa, including the evacuation center (Crosswalk Community Church, 2590 First Street) and two mobile home parks (4421 Solano Ave. and 1040 Orchard Ave.). More than 800 meals were served today during breakfast and lunch, and dinner service is also scheduled at all sites.
Monetary donations are needed to help The Salvation Army assist those affected during the short-term and long-term recovery. The Salvation Army uses 100% of disaster donations in support of local disaster relief operations.
